YMTA Sponsored Public School Programs

A major YMTA goals is to support public and private schools in Washington State that offer a maritime program for their students. YMTA facilitates funding and in-kind donations for youth maritime training programs and provides guest speakers, field trips, job shadows and internships for students in YMTA supported programs. Students that have been part of a YMTA supported program may apply for a YMTA scholarship in their senior year. If your school currently offers a maritime training program or if you have an interest in bringing a maritime course of study to your school contact YMTA President, Gary Stauffer.
